Performance of the job interview

Starting the class the teacher arrived early and greeted us, then Daniela handed us a sheet where there was a word search and a crossword puzzle where there were words that were used in job interviews. The teacher gave us a few minutes to solve the exercise of the sheet and then made each of us participate, the people who had finished had to write the words on the board. I participated twice. Then we did another dynamic where we competed for teams, my team did not win but I had a lot of fun. Halfway through the class we started with the performances, my team did well, but the teacher told us what we could do better. As we had not obtained excellent grades, the teacher left us a homework assignment. We had to record us acting and then send the video. Finally the class ended and I do not hesitate to say that it was one of the most fun.

My 14th English class

Unfortunately, I was late to this class because I had a problem, so I had to give my punishment, which was to give a fruit to give to the people who responded well. Upon entering, Daniela handed us a sheet about the class we would have. To make the class more dynamic, we formed groups of 5 people and my group was made up of my friends Daniela, Kiara, Jhocelyn and Ivan. In this class we learned to ask questions using the Wh questions. We had to ask questions about the reading that was on the sheet. At first, some of my classmates found it difficult, but with practice the dynamics became easier and more fun and I was happy because my team won. We also learned the difference between in, on and at.  At the end of the class, the teacher reviewed the dialogue of our performance on the job interview and we told her what method of interview we had chosen, we chose the "Case Interview" method. This class was very productive.

My 13th virtual English class

This time we did not have face-to-face English class because it was the University elections so they declared a holiday this day. However, the English teacher, Gabriela, kindly asked us by WhatsApp message to connect at 9 in the morning to give us directions on how the next project would be where we should act. She told us by video call that we should act as if we were in a job interview, but for that we must first choose which interview method we would choose to act. Unfortunately I could not connect via video call because I did not have internet at that time but all this was informed by my friend Daniela who I thanked a lot. Finally, the teacher sent us videos and information on how the interview should be. Thank you teacher for worrying that we learn and have good grades. 😊

Me, acting for the first time in english

In this recent English class, the teacher left us a project in which we should act as if we were in a restaurant applying all the expressions she taught us in the virtual class. The name of my team's restaurant was called "the magic grill", at the beginning I was a little bit nervous because I don't like acting but at the end I got used to it. To make the performance more real we carry some dishes that we put on our menu, we bring drinks, cutlery, tablecloth and thanks to that the performance was much better. After the performance we presented the next task that the teacher left us, the task was to sing karaoke and in order to complete that task my team and I coordinated to record ourselves singing and project the video in class, which was funny and everyone laughed, at first I was embarrassed but then I laughed with them. Finally the class ended and I had fun as always.

My Experience In The Online Exam

Today was my mid-term exam of the English course. The exam had to be online because we didn't have class in the university for different reasons. I tought it would be difficult but it was really easy because the question were about everything I learned in class. After the exam, the teacher connected with my classmates and me by video call. She showed us the correct answers and she told us she missed us and we told her we missed her too. I look forward to Friday's class to see her and have fun with her class.   

My Virtual Class - 09/24/19

Today the class was virtual because the teacher was in Piura and she couldn't attend in person. Miss Gabriela told us with anticipation and she sent us a link of the web "ZOOM" where we did the class with video call. On this lesson I learned about the parts of the menu, expressions of the waiter and client, name of the fruits in English. Also, I learned about the food pyramid, how they are classified and what foods belong to each level. My Neighborhood

Hi, this is my video about my neighborhood. I hope you like it :D Hi, My name is Raquel Millones and I'm administration student. I live in Los Olivos, my neighborhood is Villa Sol, it's an excellent place. There are two beautiful and clean parks. There is one big market called Tottus, my family an I go shopping there. There are two mini markets called Tambo and Mass. There are many restaurants where they cook deliciously. There are some pharmacies for example Inkafarma and Mifarma. Within the urbanization, it's a safe place but around it I must be careful because it´s a little bit dangerous. In my neighborhood there is a small church and there are two schools, one is very close to my house. In a nutshell I'm very lucky to live in that gorgeous area.
