My Second Class

This time the lesson was in the classroom 06. The teacher arrived early and start putting Ed Sheeran's song again, so that we remember the verb in past. After this, she explained to us how to make a blog. On this blog we'll put everything we do in class. Then, the teacher taught us how to write the verbs in past and made us write sentences with this but in two different ways, positive form and negative form. My sentences are:

  1. I drank quinoa today for breakfast
  2. I didn't drink coffee today for breakfast




Then, she told us a story that she had in the past and with this example, we form groups to tell stories that had happened to us, next we choose one of them to act in front of the class.
The story of my group was: 
2 years ago. Rachel was shopping in the supermarket Tottus with her mom. Her mom had the shopping cart. She told her to bring toilet paper, so she went to look for it and she saw that she was moving away from her, so she ran to her and put it there. When she listen that her mom said in a loud voice: Daughter! So she realized that she wasn't her mom and said: You aren't my mom!! and she took the toilet paper and went with her real mom. 

That was a funny story.



Finally the teacher told us the note, we got a 15 for our performance. She said goodbye and the class ended.

Why didn't I have English class today?

Today, I didn't have English class. The teacher, Gabriela Rodriguez del Aguila, couldn't go because she has medical rest. What happened was that yesterday, in the middle of the class, she felt a big pain and had to go to the hospital. I hope she gets better and I appreciate that she let us know that she wouldn't come by whatsapp message. I can't wait for the next class to continuous learning the English language.

My Third Class

In this opportunity we learned about the simple past. The teacher gave us exercises where we had to complete the sentences with the correct word. After that, we learned to say and write the parts of our body in English. To practice, we sang the song of Ed Sheeran and identified the parts of our body that are mentioned in the song. Some parts of our body that we learned to write and say were: eyes, cheeks, brain, hands, fingers, legs, foot, head, etc. Then, we talk about the places that I can find in my neighborhood like hair salon, pet shop, malls, butcher, pharmacy, etc. To learn more, she left me the task to describe my neighborhood and what places are nearly, and I wrote this: Hello, My name is Raquel Millones and I live in Los Olivos, my neighborhood is Villa Sol, it's an excellent place. Performance of the job interview

Starting the class the teacher arrived early and greeted us, then Daniela handed us a sheet where there was a word search and a crossword puzzle where there were words that were used in job interviews. The teacher gave us a few minutes to solve the exercise of the sheet and then made each of us participate, the people who had finished had to write the words on the board. I participated twice. Then we did another dynamic where we competed for teams, my team did not win but I had a lot of fun. Halfway through the class we started with the performances, my team did well, but the teacher told us what we could do better. As we had not obtained excellent grades, the teacher left us a homework assignment. We had to record us acting and then send the video. Finally the class ended and I do not hesitate to say that it was one of the most fun.
